ARTIST STATEMENT

 

 

    Currently exploring many styles and media in order to advance myself and find my style. At the moment concentrating on nature, in particular birds and aquatic animals. Combining an abstract background with a realistic subject in order to enhance contrast and explore the possibilities of the freeform that an abstract allows.

 

   My choice of media is acrylic paint and oil; however, I also work with other media such as resin and water colour as well as any other media that I find interesting. Exploring new ways of creating my work is one of the inspirations that drives me to create it. I paint mostly on canvas, wood panel or simply paper.
